HALLIWICK ROAD.
2021
An Edwardian terrace in Muswell Hill has been extended and refurbished to create a comfortable, low-energy house. The original structure of the house was revealed, and its modest beauty celebrated.
Energy requirements are dramatically reduced by insulating, triple-glazing, and improving airtightness. New additions include a rear extension and a loft conversion.
Design features include timber structure and insulated SIP panels and masonry nibs walls were retained where possible to avoid the use of steel box frames.
